Abstrak

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah menjadi pendorong utama terjadinya transformasi digital di berbagai sektor, termasuk industri, pendidikan, kesehatan, dan pemerintahan. Transformasi ini tidak hanya berkaitan dengan adopsi teknologi, tetapi juga mencakup perubahan mendasar dalam proses bisnis, budaya organisasi, serta pola interaksi masyarakat. Dalam konteks tersebut, konsep Society 5.0 hadir sebagai paradigma baru yang menekankan integrasi antara teknologi digital dan kehidupan manusia untuk menciptakan keseimbangan antara kemajuan teknologi dan kesejahteraan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif peran teknologi informasi dalam mendukung transformasi digital serta mengidentifikasi peluang dan tantangan yang muncul dalam implementasinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan mengkaji berbagai sumber ilmiah, baik jurnal internasional maupun nasional, yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa teknologi seperti Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT), dan Cloud Computing berkontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, akurasi pengambilan keputusan, serta inovasi layanan. Namun, di sisi lain, penerapan teknologi tersebut juga menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti isu keamanan data, keterbatasan infrastruktur, serta rendahnya kesiapan sumber daya manusia. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan strategis yang terintegrasi agar transformasi digital dapat berjalan secara optimal dan berkelanjutan dalam mendukung terwujudnya Society 5.0.
