Implementing Big Data Analytics to Support Business Intelligence in the Era of Digital Transformation

Digital transformation drives organizations to handle large and complex amounts of data as a foundation for decision-making. This makes Big Data Analytics a highly influential technology in strengthening Business Intelligence capabilities to create more precise, faster, and strategic information. The purpose of this study is to examine the use of Big Data Analytics to support Business Intelligence in the era of digital transformation and to identify the benefits and obstacles in its implementation. The methodology used is a qualitative study with a literature study approach, involving the collection, selection, and analysis of various scientific journals, books, and articles related to the research theme. The findings of this study indicate that combining Big Data Analytics with Business Intelligence can improve the quality of data analysis, accelerate the presentation of information directly, and support more effective and data-driven decision-making. In addition, the application of this technology also helps organizations predict business trends, understand customer behavior, and improve operational efficiency. However, the implementation process still faces challenges related to data quality, information security, technological infrastructure, and the need for skilled human resources. Therefore, the application of Big Data Analytics can be an important strategy in optimizing Business Intelligence so that organizations can increase competitiveness and adapt to developments in digital transformation.
