Utilizing Business Intelligence to Help Companies Manage Data

The development of information technology has led to an increase in the amount of data generated by companies in various business activities. Poorly managed data can make it difficult to obtain accurate information and hinder the decision-making process. Therefore, technology is needed that can process data into valuable information for companies. One solution that can be implemented is Business Intelligence (BI). This study aims to analyze the use of Business Intelligence in helping companies manage data and support information-based decision-making processes. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method through a literature study by analyzing the concepts of Business Intelligence, data management, business analysis, and the implementation of decision support systems. The results show that Business Intelligence can help companies integrate data from various sources, improve the quality of data processing, and present information through easy-to-understand reports and dashboards. The implementation of BI also provides benefits in increasing operational efficiency, accelerating the analysis process, and helping management determine business strategies based on accurate data. Thus, Business Intelligence can be a strategic solution for companies in optimizing data management and increasing competitiveness in the digital era.
