Abstract

 

 

Penelitian ini membahas perancangan dan implementasi sistem smart farming berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan sensor soil moisture dan DHT11 untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan penyiraman tanaman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan sistem yang mampu melakukan monitoring kondisi lingkungan secara real-time serta mengontrol penyiraman tanaman secara otomatis berdasarkan tingkat kelembapan tanah. Metode yang digunakan meliputi perancangan perangkat keras berupa sensor dan mikrokontroler serta pengembangan perangkat lunak untuk monitoring berbasis IoT. Sistem yang dibangun mampu membaca kelembapan tanah, suhu, dan kelembapan udara, kemudian mengontrol pompa air secara otomatis sesuai kondisi yang terdeteksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat bekerja secara efektif dalam menjaga kondisi tanah tetap optimal dan mengurangi pemborosan air. Dengan demikian, sistem smart farming berbasis IoT ini dapat menjadi solusi dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas di bidang pertanian.
