Peer Review Process
Nuverse implements a double-blind peer review system to ensure that all submitted manuscripts are evaluated objectively, fairly, and without bias. This review process follows the ethical standards and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
1. Manuscript Submission
Authors submit manuscripts via email to:
???? editor.nuverse@gmail.com, in accordance with the Author Guidelines.
Each submitted manuscript is initially checked for:
-
Administrative completeness
-
Compliance with the journal’s focus and scope
-
Plagiarism screening (similarity threshold ≤ 25%)
2. Initial Screening (Desk Evaluation)
The Editor-in-Chief and members of the Editorial Board conduct a preliminary evaluation to assess:
-
Originality of the manuscript
-
Relevance to the journal’s scope
-
Compliance with formatting and submission requirements
Manuscripts that fail to meet these basic criteria may be rejected without external peer review.
3. Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts that pass the desk evaluation are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area.
The identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the process to maintain the integrity of the double-blind review system.
4. Review Process
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on the following criteria:
-
Originality and contribution to knowledge
-
Clarity of research objectives and theoretical framework
-
Methodological rigor and validity of data
-

-
Quality, relevance, and currency of references
-
Compliance with research and publication ethics
Possible review recommendations include:

5. Editorial Decision
The Editor considers all reviewer comments and makes one of the following decisions:
-
Accept the manuscript
-
Request revisions (minor or major)
-
Reject the manuscript
Authors are generally given 2–4 weeks to revise their manuscripts and submit a detailed response to each reviewer comment.
6. Final Check and Proofreading
Once a manuscript is accepted, it undergoes:
-
Language editing
-
Formatting and layout adjustments
-
Final proofreading for author approval
7. Publication
Accepted articles are published online first and subsequently assigned to a specific journal issue according to the publication schedule of Nuverse.
8. Ethical Principles and Transparency
All reviewers involved in the review process are required to:
-
Maintain strict confidentiality of manuscript content
-
Refrain from using manuscript information for personal or professional advantage
-
Disclose any conflicts of interest to the Editor
