Publication Ethics

Nuverse is committed to upholding the principles of integrity, honesty, and transparency throughout the entire scholarly publishing process. This publication ethics statement is developed in accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to protect authors, editors, reviewers, and readers, and to ensure that the scientific publication process is conducted in a fair, objective, and accountable manner.

1. Author Ethics

Authors submitting manuscripts to Nuverse are required to:

  • Ensure that the submitted manuscript is an original work, free from plagiarism, and has not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal.

  • Accurately provide citations and references for all sources used in the manuscript.

  • Honestly disclose any conflicts of interest (if any) that may influence the interpretation or results of the research.

  • Present valid and verifiable research data; data fabrication, falsification, or manipulation is strictly prohibited.

  • Ensure that all individuals who have made significant contributions are appropriately listed as authors and that all listed authors have approved the final version of the manuscript.

2. Editor Ethics

Editors of Nuverse are responsible for:

  • Evaluating manuscripts objectively and fairly without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, institutional affiliation, or political views.

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of manuscripts throughout the editorial and peer-review process.

  • Making decisions regarding manuscript acceptance or rejection solely based on scientific quality, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s focus and scope.

  • Avoiding conflicts of interest; editors with a conflict must delegate the handling of the manuscript to another qualified editor.

  • Handling suspected publication ethics violations (such as plagiarism, duplicate publication, or data manipulation) in a professional manner and in accordance with COPE guidelines.

3. Reviewer Ethics

Reviewers involved in the peer-review process are expected to:

  • Conduct reviews in an objective, constructive, professional, and timely manner.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and refrain from using any information obtained for personal or third-party benefit.

  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may affect the objectivity of the review.

  • Provide clear, evidence-based, and constructive feedback to improve the quality of the manuscript.

4. Publisher Ethics

As the publisher, Nuverse is committed to:

  • Ensuring the integrity and transparency of the entire publishing process, from manuscript submission and peer review to final publication.

  • Supporting editors in addressing allegations of plagiarism, data manipulation, or other forms of unethical behavior.

  • Providing a fair, transparent, and open-access publishing platform for the academic community.

  • Preserving digital archives and article metadata to ensure long-term accessibility of scholarly publications.

5. Handling of Ethical Violations

If ethical misconduct is identified or suspected (including plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or duplicate publication), the editors of Nuverse reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or delay the review and publication process.

  • Request clarification or explanation from the author(s).

  • Reject or retract the article if ethical violations are confirmed.

  • Report the misconduct to the author’s affiliated institution or relevant authorities in accordance with COPE procedures and recommendations.
