NUVERSE: Journal of Islamic Studies and Applied Science Integration is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that focuses on the integration of Islamic values in the development of applied sciences and community development. The journal positions Islam as an ethical and paradigmatic foundation in formulating scientific solutions to contemporary issues in the fields of health, technology, public governance, and sustainable development.
NUVERSE welcomes both empirical research articles and conceptual studies that demonstrate an explicit integration between Islamic frameworks—such as maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, Islamic ethics, principles of justice, and public welfare (maṣlaḥah)—and relevant scientific approaches. Each published manuscript is expected to provide a clear academic contribution as well as practical implications for community development.
As an interdisciplinary journal, NUVERSE aims to serve as an academic platform for lecturers, researchers, and practitioners to develop applied research oriented toward ethics, sustainability, and public benefit. Through the integration of faith and knowledge, the journal is committed to strengthening scholarly traditions that are responsive to contemporary challenges and that contribute to the development of a just and sustainable civilization.
