Author Guidelines

Karapan Network Journal accepts article submissions (via email to: editorot@gmail.com) in the field of economics related to the journal's scope, particularly in Computer Networks and Wireless Sensor Networks. The journal targets readers involved in or interested in the design, implementation, or optimization of computer networks and the integration of multiple wireless sensor systems. Topics of interest include network efficiency, Quality of Service (QoS), transition from wired to wireless networks, and systems aiming for performance and quality standards.

The official name for citations in other journals is Karapan Network Journal, as only the English version is indexed in academic databases.

Submitted articles may include theoretical studies, case studies, and original research that have not been published or submitted elsewhere. The authenticity and originality of submitted manuscripts are the sole responsibility of the authors.

Peer Review and Publication Timeline:

  • The peer-review process takes approximately 1 month.

  • Accepted papers are scheduled for publication approximately 1 year after acceptance.

Publication Fee:

  • $30 for papers with 1–3 authors

  • $50 for papers with 4 authors

  • $70 for papers with 5–6 authors

  • Fees may increase by €10 depending on the article's length and editing complexity.

  • Fees are paid after the article is accepted.

Authors receive the final version in PDF format via email.
Printed copies can be delivered to the author’s address for a fee of €50.

Article Submission Format:

  • Articles must be in English, submitted in Word (.doc/.docx) and PDF formats.

  • Structure must include the following sections:

Required Sections:

  1. Paper Title

  2. Author(s): Max 6 authors. Format: Name SURNAME (e.g., John DOE)
    Include title/position, university, city, country, and email.
    Example: John DOE, Assistant Professor, “XYZ” University, London, UK, email@example.com
    Corresponding author should be clearly identified.

  3. Abstract: Max 250 words; concise, highlighting originality.

  4. Keywords: 4–7 words/phrases in decreasing order of importance.

  5. Introduction: Establishes context and summarizes the problem based on literature.

  6. Paper Body:

    • Use Times New Roman, size 12.

    • Include headings and subheadings, properly numbered.

    • Tables and diagrams must be black and white, integrated in Word.

    • Photos: JPG, 300 dpi resolution.

    • Explain abbreviations at first mention.

  7. Conclusion: Must summarize findings, discuss implications, and potential applications.

  8. References: Must be in Harvard Style, written in English only, and include only cited sources. Examples:

    • Journal article: Author(s). (Year). Title. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), pp. xx–yy.

    • Book: Author(s). (Year). Title. Publisher, Place.

    • Conference: Author(s). (Year). Title. Conference Name, Volume, pp. xx–yy.

  9. Cover Letter: Must confirm:

    • The manuscript is original, not published or under review elsewhere.

    • All authors have approved submission.

    • Agreement to follow the journal’s ethical standards.

Correspondence Policy:
All communication regarding manuscript status will be conducted promptly. If authors fail to respond within 30 days, the manuscript may be withdrawn or rescheduled even after acceptance.
