Pengantar Riset Informatika: Konsep, Metodologi, dan Peran dalam Pengembangan Teknologi Informasi

Penelitian merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan, termasuk di bidang informatika. Riset informatika berperan dalam menghasilkan solusi inovatif terhadap berbagai permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan teknologi informasi, seperti pengembangan perangkat lunak, kecerdasan buatan, keamanan siber, analisis data, dan sistem informasi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan konsep dasar riset informatika, tahapan metodologi penelitian, serta perannya dalam mendukung perkembangan teknologi informasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan mengkaji berbagai buku, artikel ilmiah, dan sumber referensi yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman terhadap metodologi penelitian sangat penting untuk menghasilkan penelitian yang sistematis, objektif, valid, dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan secara ilmiah. Selain itu, riset informatika menjadi fondasi dalam menciptakan inovasi teknologi yang mampu menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat, dunia industri, dan sektor pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, penguasaan konsep dan metode penelitian menjadi kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh mahasiswa dan peneliti di bidang informatika.
