Peer Review Process

EconoPulse Nexus implements a double-blind peer review system to ensure that each manuscript is assessed objectively, fairly, and without bias. This review process adheres to the ethical standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Manuscript Submission

  • Authors submit manuscripts via email to: editor.econopulse@gmail.com following the Author Guidelines.

  • Each manuscript is checked for:

    • Administrative completeness

    • Alignment with journal’s focus and scope

    • Plagiarism check (similarity threshold: ≤ 25%)

2. Initial Screening (Desk Evaluation)

  • The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board conduct an initial evaluation to assess:

    • Originality

    • Relevance to journal scope

    • Format suitability

  • Manuscripts that do not meet basic standards may be rejected before peer review.

3. Reviewer Assignment

  • Manuscripts that pass the desk evaluation are assigned to at least two independent reviewers based on subject expertise.

  • The identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential (double-blind review).

4. Review Process

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:

  • Originality & Contribution to Knowledge

  • Clarity of Objectives & Theoretical Foundation

  • Methodological Rigor & Data Validity

  • Accuracy of Analysis & Interpretation

  • Quality, Recency, and Completeness of References

  • Ethical Compliance in Research

Review outcomes may include:

  • Accept without Revision

  • Minor Revision

  • Major Revision

  • Reject

5. Editorial Decision

  • The Editor reviews all reviewer feedback and makes a final decision to:

    • Accept

    • Request revisions

    • Reject the manuscript

  • Authors are usually given 2–4 weeks to revise and provide a response to each comment.

6. Final Check & Proofreading

  • Once accepted, manuscripts undergo:

    • Language editing

    • Formatting adjustments

    • Final proofreading for author confirmation

7. Publication

  • Final articles are published online first, then assigned to a specific issue based on the journal's publication schedule.

8. Ethical Principles & Transparency

  • All reviewers must:

    • Maintain manuscript confidentiality

    • Avoid using manuscript content for personal advantage

    • Disclose any conflicts of interest to the editor
